These portrait studies and this key art are part of an imaginary animated short film project inspired by the style of the series Love, Death & Robots. The film would have a runtime of around fifteen minutes, with a three-act structure and a strong visual atmosphere.

The story would take place in Eastern Russia during the 17th century. It would depict the disappearance of Russian soldiers, killed by “Oupyris,” a type of vampire-like creature from Russian folklore.
