For this project, I used India ink and watercolor for the initial studies, and Photoshop for the final illustration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The image depicts the final scene of the story, which is intended to be surprising and disturbing for the reader. I aimed to evoke the same feeling in the viewer through this illustration, drawing inspiration from macabre paintings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The environments and props, all connected to the narrative, are inspired by the United States during the first half of the 20th century.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
